Regular Season Round 1: Sigulda - EB-85 71-67

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of NorwegianEB-85 (3-1) against Latvian Sigulda on Sunday night. Sigulda were defeated by Sigulda 71-67 . Sigulda took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But EB-85 won fourth quarter 26-22 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sigulda looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sigulda made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was Fredrik Lindstrom with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Aleksa Brkic scored 19 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
